Homework
3rd graders are graded on completion of all homework that is assigned. We will have 2 weekly assignments in Study Island that each student will need to complete. One assignment will be in reading and the other will be in math. All homework is assigned on Friday and due the following Fridays. All homework is completed on a computer.

Extra Practice in math fact and spelling word memorization is encouraged. Websites that can be used to help with this are:
Homework will be monitored in class through a chart that will be posted every Thursday morning. Any homework not completed by Friday morning will be considered late. Late and missing homework can affect homework grades on report cards and affect end of quarter awards for academic achievement.
It is important that students learn to be more independent and do their best at all times. The students should be asking their family to review their completed homework before submitting. However, if any assignments need to be reassigned due to low scores, please send me an email.

- Study Island Reading (10 questions) - Must score 70% or higher
- Study Island Math (10 questions) - Must score 70% or higher

- Xtramath multiplication and Freckle.com practice 3 times a week (complete whole session)
- Google Classroom and spellingcity.com
